Glo joy unlimited extravaganza promo

Telecom operator, Globacom, yesterday excited its customers as it held the grand finale of its Joy Unlimited Extravaganza promo, where 15 cars and lots of other gifts were won by its subscribers over the last three months.

The grand finale saw the emergence of Japhet Egbede, a cab-hailing driver, as the winner of the 15th brand new Kia car. The elated 28-year old said he could not believe his ears when he was called and told that he had won a car from Glo.

“I thought it was a call from scammers. I didn’t believe it until they asked me to come to their office. I came and they said this is the car that you have won. That was when I realised it was true,” he said.

Many subscribers also won other exciting prizes such as televisions, generators, refrigerators, among others during the promo.

Speaking at the grand finale, Globacom’s Regional Manager (Lagos Island Region), Olumide Oguntimehin, said: We are glad that we have kept faith with this promise. From Lagos to Enugu, Port Harcourt to Kaduna, Abuja to Jos, Benin to Warri, Ibadan to Ilorin, and Onitsha to other cities, we held prize presentation ceremonies to hand over the items won to the winners and put smiles on the faces of our subscribers and their families.

“The winners cut across different fields of endeavour students, businessmen and women, contractors, workers, civil servants, artisans, clerics, engineers, small-scale traders, men and women, all benefited from the promo. Thus, the Christmas and New Year celebrations were made more memorable for thousands who emerged winners in the promotion.”

Globacom had on October 28, last year, unveiled the promo with a promise to give our subscribers across the country over 500,000 prizes including 15 brand new cars, thousands of household appliances such as fridges, television sets, generators as well as Glo freebIes, including data plans.

Oguntimehin noted that the promo had been a huge success for the brand and for the subscribers especially, considering the huge number of people that benefited from the reward scheme. “We will like to thank our subscribers, the special guests who attended the events, the regulatory agencies, ambassadors and influencers, the media, and, indeed, the general public for making the promotion successful. We congratulate the winners and urge them to continue to make use of their Glo lines for endless opportunities.

“Like the saying goes, every good thing must come to an end. As delightful as the experience has been, we are drawing the curtain on Joy Unlimited Extravaganza promotion today. However, while it is true that the promotion is coming to an end today, it is not the end of Unlimited Joy for Glo subscribers.
