Telecommunications service provider, Globacom, has introduced a new tariff plan that offers huge bonuses on voice and data for its subscribers. The package tagged ‘Glo Berekete’ was officially launched at the company’s headquarters in Lagos today.
According to Globacom, new customers are automatically on the Berekete package and will be receiving N600 free airtime once their lines are activated. Subsequently, the telco said the subscribers would enjoy a 700 per cent bonus on every N100 recharge. This bonus, according to the company, is split into 400 per cent for voice and 300 per cent for data.
Under the new tariff plan, Globacom said new customers on the network are to enjoy a 100 per cent bonus on all their data subscriptions for four months. It added that all old customers on the network can also enjoy the offers by migrating to the ‘Berekete’ tariff plan through *230#.
On the welcome bonus of N600, Globacom stated that all new customers will enjoy the bonus which will be credited after they have fulfilled initial requirements, including SIM registration, N100 recharge, and after making the first call. It added that the bonus will be divided into two, with N400 designated for calls to any network and N200 to be converted to 200MB of data.
Speaking at the launch, GLobacom’s Regional Manager Retail, Mr. Abdurazak Ande, said Globacom as the game changer and innovative leader in the telecoms industry introduced the new tariff plan to add value to its customers. “As an innovative company, we are continually thinking of new ways to add value to our customers and that has given birth to the Berekete plan which offers amazing voice and data benefits to our new and old customers,” he said.
“We urge our customers to continue to keep faith with us as we strive to build the best network in Nigeria and Africa,” he added.
The event had in attendance Globacom’s new set of brand ambassadors: Popstar, Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni The Entertainer, and producer and songwriter, Collins Ajereh, popularly known as “Don Jazzy. The company also unveiled singer, songwriter, and actress, Mrs. Simisola Kosoko, better known as “Simi” and Super Eagles and Manchester United striker, Odion Ighalo as brand ambassadors.
In addition, Globacom also announced an extension of its endorsement deal with the World Heavyweight Champion (WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO) Anthony Olaseni Joshua.
