Following the successful inaugural virtual event of GTR (Global Trade Review) East Africa in October 2020, the global event is returning again in partnership with TechnologyMirror, Africa’s technology news and information website to host the 2021 digital forum starting on May 12-13, 2021.
After an intensive screening of technology news websites across the Africa, three technology news platforms were picked as media partners for the hosting of the event.
In a letter from GTR Digital Marketing Executive, Tilly Redshaw, while announcing the choice of TechnologyMirror he, said that the great impact TechnologyMirror on the technology ecosystem through its reportage of news and events in Nigeria and Africa, particularly in promoting startups were a major reason for the selection.

This year, GTR’s online gathering promises expansive networking and a comprehensive programme of live and on-demand content, welcoming the leading practitioners in trade, agribusiness, supply chain, and commodity finance.
Reacting to the development, Country Editor for Technology, Isaiah Erhiawarien described the appointment of TechnologyMirror for the hosting of the event as great news saying that it is a new level of business relationship for both brands.
He called on industry experts from across the region to explore the latest developments, strategies, and solutions employed to drive East Africa’s Covid response, trade growth, and economic recovery.
