Chinese device maker, Tecno, is set to launch a new addition to its Camon series, Camon 16. This will be the direct successor of the Camon 15 series composed of the Camon 15 Pro and Camon 15, which were introduced in February this year.
Tecno Camon 16 Series smartphones are scheduled to be launched on 3 September. The company has made the YouTube page of this launch event live.
Teasers already released by the company reveal that Camon 16 comes with a 48-megapixel primary front camera, an ideal feature for selfie lovers. The phone also comes with a 64-megapixel quad-camera at the rear. Tecno says it will be a flagship-level camera.
One of the posters released by the company reveals a gorgeous full-screen display with a pill-shaped punch hole in the top-left corner. The design is on par with most of the 2020 smartphones featuring a dual-selfie combo.
The company is yet to disclose more details regarding the remaining specifications. However, the Camon 16 series will likely hit Tecno’s key markets such as Nigeria, India, and Pakistan.
